Seafood in Saigon, Vietnam

 Lion City Restaurant  Saigon, Vietnam

We've been a regular customer to Lion City Restaurant since we resided in Ho Chi Minh City. A Singaporean restaurant that serve HALAL food. I have confident when I've made friend with the owner and no Pork served in this restaurant. We normally had seafood here especially the "Kari Kepala Ikan " or Fish Head Curry. They have many branches around Ho Chi Minh City but we used to go to their base restaurant near Ben Tanh. We like to go to this restaurant as the cooking has nearly the expected taste ( Malaysian taste) not like any other local restaurant that serve Malaysian food but the taste are way too far from the expected taste. The food served with a pleasant presentation and most of the staffs here are attentive to customer's request as they are well trained. About the price, this restaurant is charging at a little bit high price however worth it paying for the taste and the service plus clean toilet.

D'Nyonya - Saigon, Vietnam

D'Nyonya is Malaysian owned restaurant and it is located near to a mosque at Dong Du (pronounce as Dong Yu) street. This restaurant basically serve Malaysian food. I like to go to this restaurant as offers laksa and masak asam that has the original Malaysian flavours. when we are talking about the price, most HALAL food in Saigon/ Ho Chi Minh are pricy but for this, it is worth paying for the taste. Ths staffs here are not well versed in both English and Malay but they understand basic English , however their main managerial people are there (the Chinese couple) to assist you. I did not taken so much food photos in this restaurant due to their poor food presentation.
